One of our recent accomplishments as a community coalition was the creation of a local youth coalition at one of our high schools.  Newberry High Youth Coalition meets weekly to talk about the importance of substance abuse prevention.  They participate in training and educational presentations, learning about the dangers and consequences of underage drinking and other substance abuse.  They help to spread our mission and to promote a healthy, drug-free school and community by putting together presentations and events educating their peers.
